I will be completing my Master Reiki Practitioner training by the end of this month and I want to share with you the amazing benefits of Reiki Energy!
If you aren't familiar - Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation that also promotes healing. When translated from Japanese, Reiki means "spiritually guided life force energy." Life force energy is always flowing through, within and around us. It is the vital force that gives us life. When this energy becomes stuck or blocked, this can create disharmony and dis-ease overtime. In one's body, stuck energy may look like increased fatigue, irritability, anxiety, depressive thoughts, clouded thinking, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, gut and digestion issues, etc.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
It is administered by the practitioner to the client in which hands are placed just off of the body or lightly touching the body to transmit universal life force energy. Reiki can also be administered through distance healing.
During a Reiki session, the intention is to create deep relaxation, to help speed healing, reduce pain, decrease anxiety or stress, and decrease other symptoms you may be experiencing.
Now, for the benefits. There are so many! Reiki healing can...
Dissolve energy blocks and promote natural balance between mind, body, & spirit
Increase energy levels
Create deep relaxation and help the body release stress and tension
Improves concentration and mental clarity
Accelerate the body's self-healing ability
Aid better sleep
Reduce blood pressure
Help relieve physical pain, stiffness and tension
Assist the body in cleansing itself from toxins
Support the immune system
Help spiritual growth and emotional cleansing
Compliment medical treatment
One session can be enough to fully feel the relaxing benefits. However, just like personal hygiene or exercise - you truly see the benefits of Reiki energy when you are consistent with sessions.
If you are interested in a distance or in-person session or would like to pair it with monthly Wellness Coaching, email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information or visit www.jordansimonewellness.com/reiki
Note: You should always remember to seek medical advice from a qualified doctor or practitioner in the case of serious illness.
Reiki sessions should be used with the understanding that Reiki is part of a holistic treatment plan. Reiki is not meant to take the place of standard medical or psychological treatment, but to accompany and work along with it.
